Certified Nurse Midwife
The primary function of the Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is to
assist expecting patients in labor, delivery and postpartum care.
They also provide professional care for patients with obstetric
and gynecological needs. They usually work in conjunction with a
practicing physician and are familiar with the standard concepts,
practices and procedures associated with childbirth and postpartum
care.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certification in Midwifery
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area
