Those who’ve never visited or lived in Arkansas often don’t realize what a gem it is until they get there—it’s something of a ‘best kept secret.’ First of all, it’s called The Natural State for good reason. Nurses who are skilled in working with the elderly are increasingly in demand here, particularly because Arkansas is a haven for retirees.

However, the most in-demand jobs in Arkansas are concentrated in and around the more heavily populated areas such as Little Rock, Fayetteville and Hot Springs. Some of the largest and best-known employers of registered nurses in Arkansas include Baptist Health, Inc.; Triad Hospitals, Inc.; and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
